FINALISATION OF THE MAÑARIA VIADUCT OF THE TAV PLATFORM, ABADIÑO-DURANGO STRETCH

This viaduct is situated in Mañaria, Biscay,  between the P.K. 1+867,65 y 2+439,65. It has been resolved by means of a solid panel composed of twelve arches, of the following spacing 34 + 44 +52*8 + 44 + 32 resulting in,  a total length of 572m. The panel is designed from a solid box girder.

The piles are made from double brick walls of 1.50m x 6.00m. The walls are separated by 1.50m. They have four sunken spaces of  5 cm in the external frontal and dorsal parameters.
Piles 1 to 6 and 11, hold direct foundations with built in footing between 10.00x10.00x2.50m. and 12.50x10.00x3.00m. Piles 7 to 10  have deep foundation based on 8 piles of 1.80m in diameter. The buttresses are walls of reinforced concrete. Buttress 1 is 10.12m tall and buttress 2 is 9,828m.

Construction will be carried out arch by arch by means of a self-supporting launching falsework, which is supported by some provisional cantilevers positioned on the top of the piles and on the corbel of the panel, already constructed during the cementing of the corresponding phase.
